We are selling 20ft HC IICL shipping containers in Minsk
We are offering 20-foot High Cube (HC) shipping containers in Minsk in IICL condition. Price: $3,200. Each container has undergone a full inspection according to the IICL-5 standard: the shell, doors, floor, and markings have been checked and brought up to the Institute of International Container Lessors' norms. This is a rare format on the market — compact, yet with a generous height allowance. You are welcome to visit, inspect, and personally verify the condition at our terminal.
20ft HC: A Rare Format for Those Who Need the Height
The 20ft HC isn't the most common container on the market. A standard 20ft DC has an internal height of 2,391 mm, whereas an HC gives you an extra 30 centimeters — nearly 2.7 meters from floor to ceiling. That’s enough to roll in oversized machinery, install double-tier racking, or simply walk inside without ducking. And since it’s only 6 meters long, it fits even on a small plot and can be moved by a standard truck with a crane (manipulator). In IICL condition, it’s a ready-to-use business tool: zero compromises on leaks, flooring, or geometry.

Who Needs an HC Instead of a Standard DC, and Why?
An extra 30 centimeters might sound modest, but in practice, it radically changes the feel of the interior space and expands use cases.
Vertical Storage
Double-tier racking, storing oversized items, or stacking long building materials diagonally to maximize space.
Conversion into a Workshop or Office
During interior finishing, insulation and cladding eat up 5–10 cm of height. In a standard DC, you’re left with about 2.3 meters — tolerable for a workshop, but low. In a High Cube, you retain 2.6+ meters, which is comparable to standard apartment ceiling heights.
Transporting Tall Equipment
Machinery, retail shelving, exhibition structures — much of this simply doesn't fit vertically in a standard 20ft container. The High Cube solves this problem while staying in the same transport class and avoiding the cost of a half-empty 40ft unit.
What Does IICL Condition Mean for a 20ft HC?
IICL is the standard of the Institute of International Container Lessors, adopted by the world's leading container leasing lines. It is the highest benchmark for a used container.
Shell & Geometry
Wall and roof corrugations must not have dents deeper than 15 mm. Any damage beyond tolerance is either straightened or covered with a factory-grade patch with full-penetration welding. The frame is straight, with no signs of racking (twisting) — the container sits flat on the ground without corner binding.
Doors & Airtightness
The four locking rods on the double doors operate smoothly, without play. The rubber gasket is crack-free and seals evenly around the entire perimeter. The container passes a water-tightness test: not a single drop gets inside.
Flooring
Plywood is free of waves, delamination, dark spots, or odors. All screws are countersunk flush. Seams between sheets are sealed. The floor is ready for forklift traffic without additional repairs.
Markings
The CSC safety approval plate and factory stencils are in place. All information is legible and matches the actual condition.
IICL vs. Cargo Worthy: A 20ft HC Comparison
Parameter | Cargo Worthy (CW) | IICL |
Appearance | Rust streaks, sticker residue, and cosmetic dents are acceptable | Container looks tidy. No dirt, streaks, or old marking residue. |
Door Assembly | Operates without sticking | Operates smoothly, lubricated, with no deformation of rods or handles. Gasket is supple. |
Permissible Corrosion | Surface rust is normal | Any corrosion spot is ground down to bare metal, primed, and painted. |
Flooring | Must be intact and not leak | Intact, flat, no burrs or chips. If replaced, only certified marine-grade plywood is used. |
Geometry | No critical deformations | Factory tolerances maintained. No racking or frame "fatigue." |
Intended Use | Storage, site office, one-off transport | Commercial transport, leasing, premium architectural conversion. |
How Pre-Sale Preparation of a 20ft HC IICL Works
Every container goes through five preparation stages before hitting the market.
Defect Assessment via IICL-5 Checklist
The technician walks around the container inside and out, logging all deviations from IICL norms. Anything out of tolerance goes into the repair work order.
Bodywork & Structural Repair
Through-defects are cut out and welded. Dents deeper than 15 mm are straightened or covered with a repair patch. Weld seams are ground smooth, primed, and painted to match the container's color.
Floor Replacement (if necessary)
Every floorboard is checked for sagging and condition. At the slightest defect, it is replaced. Only marine-grade bakelized plywood is used, secured with proprietary, anti-corrosion fasteners.
Airtightness Testing
The container is closed and checked for light leaks from the inside. If even the slightest gap is found, the doors are adjusted or the gasket is replaced. This is followed by a high-pressure water hose test.
Final Preparation
All foreign stickers and glue residue are removed. Hinges and locks are lubricated. Localized touch-up painting is applied if needed. Up-to-date markings are applied to the door, and the CSC plate is verified or duplicated.
Why Do Customers Buy 20ft HC IICL Containers in Belarus?
1. Compact Storage with Extra Height
When the plot is small but you need to store a lot, and high. The High Cube allows for double-tier vertical storage without renting additional square footage.
2. Conversion into a Site Office, Workspace, or Guard Post
The 20ft format is easy to move with a crane truck. The High Cube provides comfortable ceiling height even after insulation and finishing. In IICL condition, such a module looks respectable on the outside and lasts for decades.
3. Transporting Specific Cargo
Tall machinery, exhibition structures, set pieces. When the standard 20ft height doesn't cut it, but running a half-empty 40ft container is uneconomical, the 20ft HC perfectly fills this niche.
